Apparently, if something isn't explicitly prohibited in the rules, that means you're allowed to do it.

Let's apply this brilliant reasoning to a few similar situations.
 

1. Trespassing

I walked into someone else's house because the door was open, and I got arrested for trespassing.

→ "There was no sign telling me not to enter, so I went in."

2. Child abuse

I hit a baby, and the police arrested me for child abuse.

→ "The baby never told me not to hit them, so I did."

3. Traffic accident

I was riding my motorcycle, got into an accident, and seriously injured a pedestrian.

→ "The pedestrian never told me not to hit them, so I did."

What an extraordinary quote.
