During a livestream that attracted over 1 million total views last night, Vietnamese streamer PewPew directly invited South Korean female streamer SOOPI and her management company to participate in a PUBG exhibition event in Vietnam to recreate the situation that has sparked controversy.

Notably, PewPew declared that he was willing to provide SOOPI with five-star treatment from the moment she arrives at the airport, including accommodation at the Lotte Hotel, meals, and all event-related expenses.

If donations are insufficient, he said he would cover the remaining costs out of his own pocket or seek sponsors to ensure the event takes place.

However, the most unusual condition of his invitation is that PewPew wants to livestream the event while recording SOOPI's hand movements to see exactly how she uses the Beryl rifle while riding in a vehicle.

PewPew also proposed organizing an exhibition match between SOOPI and female Vietnamese PUBG players to avoid arguments about differences in skill levels between male and female competitors.

During this match, the organizers would deliberately recreate the controversial situation:

SOOPI would be knocked down by gunfire, her teammate would reverse the vehicle to rescue her, and they would then find another vehicle and repeat a similar scenario.

PewPew emphasized that he could take responsibility for organizing the entire event, while insisting that it should be a positive, enjoyable occasion focused on friendly interaction.

He also argued that recording a player's hand movements is perfectly normal, as professional players around the world frequently share footage of their hand movements during gameplay.

PewPew even envisioned a beautiful ending in which Himass and Tanvuu would approach SOOPI and embrace her at the end of the exhibition match, creating a heartwarming conclusion straight out of a Korean drama.

PewPew repeatedly emphasized that his invitation was made with the utmost goodwill. However, the proposal would also place SOOPI's gaming skills and actual gameplay mechanics under the direct scrutiny of the Vietnamese PUBG community.

As of now, neither SOOPI nor her management company has publicly responded to PewPew's supposedly well-intentioned invitation

 

However, this proposal is nothing short of unreasonable.

Inviting SOOPI to Vietnam while she is being subjected to all kinds of sexual harassment and humiliation? Even a child who doesn't fully understand the situation wouldn't do something like this.

This is the kind of proposal that could be made once the current controversy has died down.

SOOPI is currently emotionally exhausted, and there is no reason to believe she would welcome such an invitation. The fact that PewPew even came up with this idea makes him seem extremely questionable as well.
